A very good quality Anejo from Herradura. This was introduced in 1962, and was the first commercially available Tequila of its type. It also won Golds at both the coveted International Wine and Spirit Competition as well as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition – both in 2006.
Barrel-aged for an industry surpassing 25 months for a brilliant flavor of slow-roasted agave, aged wood, toasted almond, and spices.
Aroma: Intense agave, toasted oak, candied nuts, cinnamon, citrus
Color: Toasted toffee with shades of copper
Flavor: Deep, nutty caramel, hints of pineapple and orange
Finish: Smooth, sweet, warm baking spices
Aged: 25 Months
