Russian Standard
Following the quality standard of the Russian vodka empire formulated by Mendeleev, a famous Russian scientist in 1894. Superior winter wheat grown in black soil on the Russian steppe and pure glacial water from Lake Ladoga were adopted. These natural ingredients are then collected in our St. Petersburg Distillery, where they undergo a unique distillation process over 200 times until they reach their extraordinary purity.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Crystal clear, no sediment whatsoever. Limpid shining pool in the glass. On swirling, it leaves a thin clear coat on the inside of the glass with long thin legs.
Palate: Plump, slightly oily body, with wheat bread notes glide past the tongue nipping at it with the alcohol edge. Nicely oily body but not too heavy.
Finish:A slightly sweet, creamlike lingering finish.
Straight from the Mayor
It is not a harsh tasting vodka by all means. Incredibly pure, soft and delicious and I enjoy it so much. That even irritated some of us who like to feel a strong mineral taste when they drink an authentic Russian vodka.
