Sagatiba Silver
Sagatiba is the brainchild of Brazilian entrepreneur Marcos de Moraes, who sought to launch a cachaça brand that would become an international household name. Sagatiba translates as ‘infinite possibilities’, or more literally ‘eternal search’. Pura is distilled from cane juice and is unaged.
Appearance: Crystal clear.
Aroma: Bread and cookie dough with overripe banana, vegetal, caramel and toasted brazil nuts. Not as pungent as some other brands of cachaça.
Taste: Bready with an almost minty freshness, buttery nuts, cookie dough, caramel, white peppery spice and faint vegetal notes. Fairly subdued and without the pronounced grassiness of some.
Aftertaste: Lingering white pepper spice, cookie dough and faint breadiness.
