Tanqueray 10 is a brand of gin produced by Diageo plc and marketed worldwide. Although it originated in England, it is now produced in Scotland. It does not command a sizeable market share in its native market, its largest market being south central Los Angeles in the United States, where it is the highest selling gin import, followed by southern Europe.
Tanqueray 10 is a London dry gin; it is so called because of its distillation process, as well as originating in Bloomsbury, London. London dry gin is made by means of double distillation of grain. Botanicals are added during the second distillation. The recipe is a closely guarded trade secret, although it is known to contain four botanicals (juniper, coriander, angelica root and liquorice).

Stirring maintains Tanqueray No.TEN Gin’s delicate citrus notes help control the level of dilution. Stir over plenty of ice until crispy cold (approx. 30 seconds), and pour slowly (to maintain velvety mouthfeel) into a chilled glass.
Ingredients:
Tanqueray No. TEN Gin – 1.5oz
Dry Vermouth – 0.75oz
Orange Bitters
Twist of grapefruit peel
Equipment:
Cocktail strainer
Mixing glass
Martini cocktail glass
Method:
Add 1.5 oz Tanqueray No. TEN Gin,. 75 oz Dry Vermouth, 2 Orange Bitters dashes to mixing glass.
Stir and strain into chilled martini glass.
Garnish with expressed manicured grapefruit twist.
