Skyy and Baileys Bundle
Skyy vodka was originally invented by Maurice Kanbar, a San Francisco entrepreneur who suffered from sickness when he drank alcohol. He attributed this to the impurities or the congeners in distilled spirits.
He set out to create the world’s purest vodka possible and in 1991 he launched Skyy vodka. He claims it has the “fewest impurities” or any vodka, at 0.9mg per liter.
Skyy is made from wheat using a 4 column distillation process. It is then filtered through calcium carbonate, cellulose plates, and granular carbon.
Baileys Irish Cream was created by Gilbeys of Ireland, a division of International Distillers & Vintners, as it searched for something to introduce to the international market. The process of finding a product began in 1971 and it was introduced in 1974 as the first Irish cream on the market. You’re looking at £20 a bottle in the UK for Baileys Irish Cream. Yeah, some supermarkets here in China, occasionally have it on offer for silly prices, but when you rip off how much it costs us to package and deliver this, then we still beat them hands down.
