Grand Marnier
Grand Marnier is an orange flavored liqueur made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange, and sugar. Even though it is a flavored liqueur, it is still 40% alcohol by volume, which is more than most other flavored liqueurs. In addition to being an after-dinner drink it makes a very nice flavoring for a variety of dishes.
It’s delicious on its own as an after-dinner drink but can also be mixed into a cocktail or used in a recipe, like a dessert. You can use it to spike a fruit salad, to add a lovely fragrant note to desserts.
