Pink Gin and Free Tonic
Lubuski Pink Gin
Lubuski Pink Gin is a great tasting, smooth as water, strawberry flavoured gin from Poland. Before you laugh it up and think “eeerugh, Poland” – it’s worth noting that not only do the Polish make the worlds best Vodkas, but they also make some stunning gin. Here’s a damn fine example.
As with most things from Poland, they have the perfect balance of price and quality – great value liquor across the board.
Tasting Notes
While most of these pink gins on the market are sickly sweet, this one has a good balance of dry juniper and strawberry.
Serving Suggestion
This is good enough to sip on ice. Alternatively, add some decent tonic for a long drink.
Straight from The Mayor
Gin is and always will be my thing, but most of these recent concoctions on the market are vile. This is different. This is rather special. This is Polish where dryness in liquor is an absolute must. Beats all that sweet sugary muck being cranked out of Spain for sure. London Dry Gin was always known as “Mothers Ruin”. This one will ruin your granny.
