This aged rum, we are told, was historically reserved for Don Facundo; the Bacardi family. It is a blend of Bacardi’s finest Caribbean rums, is aged at least eight years in carefully selected, small, mature oak casks , then masterfully blended to develop the rounded complexity of that only the finest aged rums attain to. Mixing Bacardi 8 Anos is strictly taboo.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dried apricot and banana leaf.
Palate: Oak and spices.
Finish: Expansive and well-rounded
★Ocho Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
2 oz Bacardi Reserva Ocho rum
1/4 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Method:
1. Add all ingredients into a rocks glass.
2. Fill with ice.
3. Stir until well mixed and very cold.
4. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
★Ocho on the Rocks
Ingredients：
1 1/2 oz Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rum(1 person)
3 oz Bacardi Reserva Ocho Rum(2 person)
Method:
1. Fill an old fashioned glass with a single large ice cube.
2. Pour in the Bacardi Reserva Ocho rum.
3. Serve, no garnish.
4. Sip and savor.
