Asti Martini has a history of more than 150 years, when Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi took over the National Wine & Spirits Distillery in a small village near Turin. That was in 1863 when they hit the world with vermouth. It was logical that they would expand into other wines and Asti Martini is their sparkling contribution to the world.
This is a decent sparkling wine that has been around for decades and while it doesn’t have the status of big brand champagne, it also doesn’t cost a fortune. it comes with fresh with notes of peach and sweet wild sage, developing into fresh pear and pineapple flavours.
To make everything a bit more interesting we also have the Rose Extra Dry. Delicious and vibrant, this finely balanced spumante is delightful for al fresco meals, aperitifs or just as a spring or summer treat.
